Privacy Policy

Last updated: 11 September 2026

This policy explains what personal data is processed in connection with this website, why, and what rights you have over it. It covers the site at klimofey.com and any correspondence you start from it.

Site operator

This website is operated by:

Name
Timofei Klimov

What data is processed

This site has no contact form, no user accounts and no comment section. Your data reaches this site in only two ways:

  • Correspondence. If you write to the email address published on this site, the site operator receives your email address, the name shown on your message, and whatever you choose to tell them about yourself or your business.
  • Technical access logs. Like any website, this one is delivered by a hosting provider that records technical details of each request — IP address, time, requested page and browser user agent. These records are produced by the infrastructure that serves the page, not gathered by the site operator for purposes of their own.

Why it is processed, and on what legal basis

Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, the legal bases are:

  • to answer your enquiry and take steps at your request before entering into a contract — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR;
  • to perform a contract once one is in place — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR;
  • to keep the website available, secure and working, which is the operator's legitimate interest in running it — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR;
  • to meet legal obligations, such as retaining business correspondence for the period the law requires — Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.

What is not done with your data

Your data is not used for marketing, profiling, behavioural advertising or automated decision-making. It is not sold, rented or handed to data brokers, and it is not used to build a profile of you across other websites.

Cookies, analytics and tracking

This website sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, no session recording and no A/B testing. Nothing is written to your browser's local or session storage.

It also loads nothing from third-party servers: fonts are served from this domain rather than from a font network, so opening a page does not disclose your IP address to anyone beyond the provider that delivers the page itself.

This is why you are never asked to accept cookies — there are none to accept.

Who else can see your data

The website and the routing of email sent to the published address run on infrastructure provided by Cloudflare, Inc., which acts as a processor under its standard data processing terms and handles the data on documented instructions.

Beyond that, your data is not disclosed to anyone, except where disclosure is required by law or is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

Transfers outside your country

The infrastructure providers named above operate globally, so data may be processed on servers outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer relies on the safeguards set out in those providers' data processing terms, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long it is kept

Correspondence is kept for as long as it takes to deal with your enquiry and, where it led to a contract, for as long as business records must be retained by law. It is deleted afterwards.

Technical access logs are retained by the hosting provider for a limited period under its own retention policy and are then discarded.

Your rights

Where the GDPR applies to the processing of your data, you have the right to:

  • ask whether your data is being processed and receive a copy of it;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data erased;
  • have processing restricted while a dispute is being resolved;
  • object to processing that rests on legitimate interests;
  • receive the data you provided in a structured, machine-readable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time where processing rests on consent, without affecting the lawfulness of what was done before.

How to exercise them

Write to the email address published on this site. Requests are answered within one month. If you are not satisfied with how your data has been handled, you may lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country of residence.

Automated decision-making

There is none. No decision producing legal or similarly significant effects is taken about you automatically, and no profiling is carried out.

Children

This site addresses businesses and professionals. It is not directed at children, and no data is knowingly collected from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version is published on this page and the date shown above is updated. Material changes will be evident from that date.
